Maddy Delmonte  |  Assistant Coach

Delmonte begins her collegiate coaching career as the Assistant Beach Volleyball Coach for Georgia State this fall of 2023 after competing for five years from 2018 to 2023 at GSU. Delmonte previously coached for Tidewater Volleyball Association and 757 Beach junior programs in Virginia Beach from 2017 to 2022. She also coaches for S3 Volleyball in Atlanta. As a student-athlete, she helped lead the GSU Beach team to two Conference Championships and two National Championships Appearances. While competing, Delmonte paired with Eden Hawes for the 2019-2022 seasons in flights one through three, and Ayla Johnson for the 2023 season in flights four and five. Delmonte earned multiple Athletic Awards including All-Sun Belt Second Team and Sun Belt Conference Championship All-Tournament Team in 2023. Delmonte and Johnson received back to back Sun Belt Conference Pair of the Week in the 2023 regular season. During her Freshman year, Delmonte earned a spot on the CCSA All-Freshman Team in 2019. She earned the CSC Academic All-American Award in 2023 for her excellence in the classroom and on the court. She earned a spot on the 2022 Conference USA All-Academic Team, 2021 CCSA All-Academic Team, and earned President’s list every semester 2018-2023.

Delmonte earned her Masters and Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from GSU in 2021 and 2023. She competed on the GSU Beach Volleyball Team for five seasons from 2018-2023. In the future, she hopes to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
